Organization for Nurse Executives
FEES
The purpose of the Society shall be to promote educational activities
in hospital or similar institutions that hold active institutional
membership in the Mississippi Hospital Association by:
- Providing a medium for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of
information and material relative to healthcare.
- Providing a platform within the health care field from which
Healthcare Educators may speak.
- Providing consultation and direction on all matter relating to
nursing and health care issues.
- Identifying and defining issues that affect healthcare and
establishing position statements.
- Promoting educational programs and activities to strengthen
healthcare.
- Providing/planning programs for all levels of healthcare
professionals that foster an interchange of ideas to enhance personal
and professional growth and development.
Individuals eligible for membership in the society shall be
individuals with responsibility for healthcare education within a
hospital or similar institution that holds active institutional
membership in the Association.
The membership fee is $60 per year, per person
and entitles the individual to receive:
- subscription to the Society's newsletter,
- subscription to NewsWeekly, Mississippi Hospital Association
Annual Report, Mississippi Hospitals (a quarterly magazine),
- pertinent subject bulletins of the society
- directory of Society members,
- registration at educational programs with "member" tuition status
and
- and advocacy and participation in the political process which
directly affects the health care industry.
