Leadership Council’s Purpose and Function
The Leadership Council is made up of President and Presidents-Elect
of the MHA affiliated societies to maintain continuity of programs and
activities. A president of the council is elected and serves with
the MHA Board of Governors in an Ex-Officio capacity.
Representatives of the Council serve as a defined conduit to transmit
MHA policy, decisions and government relations information back to
his/her respective society. Council and representatives are active
in the MHA Legislative Forum and help to disseminate MHA Legislative
positions.
